Has anyone been to Bob's Boat House? It's in Wyandotte off Biddle, behind the Speed Boat.
It's really nice inside, and has a game room. The deck is huge with a bar and gazebo's. It also has a banquet center.
I haven't eaten there yet, but was wondering if anyone has and what they thought.
I will definitely go back to enjoy a cocktail while relaxing on the deck watching the boats go by!!

I have been there twice. It is really nice. The food is really good. But with an operation that big and new they are still working through some minor issues. It definitely has allot of potential. They are supposed to have volley ball and a pool,( not yet completed.) We really enjoyed eating outside and watching the boats on the river.

We had dinner there this week too, the food was good and the deck is HUGE!!!! Sharrie is right about the kinks of a brand new place but that will come with time!

I agree with Laura- I'm not a good swimmer! Good food and good service is always key so hopefully they just keep improving. It's always nice to see new businesses open, and sad when they close. Now as far as volleyball-I might be pretty good after a few drinks!

I need to go yet. I sure don't want to watch some sweaty fat dude in the pool while I eat though.

Very Big. Very Beautiful. You can tell a lot of work went into the place.

Just came from there. We just had hamburgers but they where grilled and great. They where out of a couple of items, or didn't have them in yet but it was good. My only complaint is that this place is huge but they sat us right next to this couple eating. I told my buddy that I hate when they do that and the couple even heard me say that in a whisper and said, "So do we." LOL It was good though and we'll be back for sure.
Oh and I saw Kathy Kane in there as well!

I saw Bob's Boat House when I was leaving the Speedboat last week but I didn't know if it had been there or if it was new. We will definitely have to check it out! As far as having a girl's night out there...that sounds like a great idea!! We will have to have Shelagh from Pole Crazy bring her pole and do some pole dancing!!! Hey Laura....is Bob's Boat House a DADBA member yet??? If not, I am sure you are right on that!!

I need to go yet. I sure don't want to watch some sweaty fat dude in the pool while I eat though. Can you sweat while you swim? So we'll see if Bob's give Portofino a run for the money -- or hey, how about a dash for the dough! A swim for the fin maybe. OK, now I'm getting carried away. Sorry,
