Heart disease is the No.1 killer of women in America. (I bet you thought it was breast cancer, huh? Nope.) Heart Disease and Stroke are the greatest health threats to women of ALL ethnic-backgrounds. Here are a few statistics I learned: *Heart disease and stroke are the #3 killers of women over age of 25 *Cardiovascular disease (CVD) including stroke claims nearly twice as many women 's lives as all forms of cancer *1 in 2.6 women die of heart disease, stroke and other CV diseases, compared with 1 in 30 from breast cancer *64 % of women who died suddenly of coronary heart disease had NO PREVIOUS PROBLEMS *1 in 3 women in the United States currently suffers from some form of cardiovascular disease Friday February 2, is The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women movement day. They are asking for $5 contributions. Your participation supports vital education programs and research. Visit www.goredforwomen.org for more information or to donate your $5. Call: 1-888-My-Heart. Remember National Wear Red Day. Remember February is also the month we celebrate LOVE. Love the women in your life even more on Valentines' Day and help keep hearts healthy. Call me to learn which Shaklee supplements can help you or a woman you love prevent the damage caused by heart disease or stroke. Supplements such as OmegaGuard with Omega-3 fish oils, and Cholesterol Reducing Complex and Co-QHeart with Reservatrol to strengthen the heart muscle. Blessings, Linda from Shaklee www.LindaPastor.com
