Hello, many of us watch Oprah when we can. This week she featured a program on weight loss [again] and had her famous weight loss guru, Bob Green visit and they discussed Slim Fast and One-a-Day multivitamins.
Their recommendations were strong, but they are on the wrong track when it comes to nutrition.
A Shaklee representative I know (Shirley Davis) who is also a Holistic Nutritionist went to the store after the program and looked at the ingredients on the containers of Slim Fast and One-a-Day. Both contained synthetic vitamins.
Shaklee does not.
Both were poorly balanced and lacking in important nutrients.
Both Slim Fast and One-a-Day contained caffeine (in a multivitamin?).
Slim Fast contains three sweeteners: table sugar, multodextrin and sucralose and the vitamins that are present are only 35% DV (no Biotin).
Shaklee has Biotin and a whole lot less sugar.
And So I say: BUYER BEWARE!!
Regarding the vitamins, Shaklee leads the world in clinical research on nutritional products, having already invested well over 180 million dollars. No other company has spent anywhere near that much.
About product quality we hear people say:
1. “A vitamin is a vitamin. They’re all the same aren’t they?”
2. “There are lots of companies claiming that their product is the Best!”
3. “Does one company’s products REALLY work better than another’s?”
4. “Why not just buy the cheapest?”
“Who do you believe?”
Consumer CONFUSION is rampant. The bottom line is ... QUALITY determines RESULTS! Shaklee has 50 years of proven results.
I always tell people that Shaklee conducts clinical studies to make sure that their products get into the blood stream. Other companies do not go as far. Therefore, the types of nutrients used by Shaklee are those proven to be absorbed.
Do your own comparrison. I have. Break the diet cycle with "CINCH". Keep the muscle you need, BURN the fat you hate, and loose the inches you don't want.
FYI--I have dropped 2 inches from my hips since starting Shaklee's "Cinch" Program.
Blessings,
Linda
