Got Mold, Mildew?

Winter is finally here. We've turned up the added insultation and taped up the storm windows, inched up the thermostat and brought out the comforters. I like to consider myself a cleaning guru. Make sure to have your carpets cleaned at least yearly, or before the purchase of a air purifier.

I`ll tell you the truth, if you think your air is bad in the home, wait to you see the waste water that comes out after your carpet cleaning!

Thanks Kevin, but I only drink filtered water from Shaklee's filters.

I recycle most everything but I pass on the carpet water. (:-)

I have a preference to clean water as well! I have seen what a difference carpet cleaning can do - and the clean air filters do wonderful things for allergies!!! so many options to prevent sickness and medicine! Luckily we have wood floors thru most of the house - cuts back on the germs and allergic reactions!!!

You are so right about the prevention of illness, Laura. It is much easier to prevent something than it is to recover. And in almost every case, the cost is less.

Think about healthcare costs for diabetes and colon cancer or heart disease--of course all illness is not preventable, but many are avoidable with proper nutrition, prompt medical care and good judgement.
