Dust. During the winter, it's something we think about once a or twice a week when we clean--unless we see fingerprints on the coffee table or the occassional dustweb strand hanging in the corner above the couch.
From our childhood we all have memories of mom or grandma opening the windows to air out the house, and possibly even gathering up all the rugs, and taking them to the back porch to 'shake out the dust'.
I still remember those Saturday mornings my mother would cover her nose and mouth with a handkerchief with one hand and shake the dickens out of those rugs with the other.
Why did [they] shake out the dust? Because company would come and dust was an eyesore? Because a dusty home was a sign of being a poor housekeeper? Probably, but I think our mothers knew that all that dust was not good for us--they knew that dust held more than just dust mites.
Well, I'm here to tell you that they were so right on target. The chemically-laced dust in our homes today can shorten our lives.

So, perhaps you have never thought about using an air filter before. Just who really needs an air filter?
Any one with:
Asthma or Allergies
Or has a sensitivity to:
Pet Dander Dust Mites
Mold Pollen
Anyone exposed to:
Chemicals (fertilizers, permanent wave solutions)
Cleaning Products Perfumes
Dust Mites Mold Paint(solvents)
Or those with an illness such as:
Bronchitis Cancer
Cystic Fibrosis Emphysema
Influenza Pneumonia
Sinusitis Tuberculosis
And Upper Respiratory Infections
Seems like that's about all of us. Consider the dust in your home. Consider the environmental pollutants that are in your life right now. Is the air you breathe safe?
Remember: You can either buy a filter or your body BECOMES a filter. Your choice.
