Hi, everyone! It was great meeting some of you last night. For those I haven't met yet: My name is Terey DeLisle, and I am a career counselor with the nonprofit organization Services to Enhance Potential (or STEP).
I work with people looking to enter or reenter the workforce, helping to match up job seekers with employers. We offer support to both the employer and employee throughout the entire employment process and beyond. STEP has been in the southeast MI area for many years.
What I am able to offer to the other DADBA members is a way to help business owners who are looking for employees. Many people I work with are looking for part-time and flexible schedules, which can work well with smaller businesses. There is no charge to the employer for our services.
I am new to both DADBA and STEP, but not to the downriver area! I grew up in Trenton, and after living in the Kalamazoo area for a few years, am thrilled to be back, and happy to support local downriver business!
