Hello, My name is Joyce Gibson. I joined the Dadba group in December and am looking forward to meeting new people and getting to know more about what everyone does.
I represent two businesses the first being Kelly Services, Inc. I am a Branch Manager at the Taylor location. I have been with Kelly Services for almost 4 years and have been in the Staffing Industry for about 6. I also have about 10 years of Management experience behind me. The thing I love most about Kelly Services is the feeling I get when I put someone to work and help them keep their family in a home and food on the table. Especially in Michigan's economy, people really need all the help they can get. The second business, which will eventually be my sole job taking me through retirement, is my job as a Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay. I have just celebrated my 5th year as a consultant and am having so much fun building my business. What women would not love to have someone come to her own home and give her and her friends a Skin Care Class or a Color makeover right in her own living room. It's so nice to see someone's reaction when they see how wonderful they look and feel or to see someone succeed with their own business, finding out that they can do it to!! Oh Yea, I almost forgot to mention, I also, just love the products, my skin glows!! It was amazing to me after I started using the products how great my skin looked, I am always receiving compliments on my skin and how great it looks. When you feel good about yourself you can do anything you set your mind too!! I think the thing I really like most about both jobs is the fact that I get to really help people and make them feel good about themselves. Everyone can use a helping hand at some point in life and it's a great feeling to be able to do that.
A little about me, I live in Flat Rock, I recently purchased a Condominium from Kelli Dubois (another Dadba member), I have a fiance, two almost grown girls and my favorite of the family my little dog Sammy. When I am not busy with my two jobs, I love taking care of my home and my wonderful family. In all this mess our world is in right now, you have to count your blessings and I am truly blessed with what I have.
I look forward to meeting you at lunch next week and I hope to get a picture up by end of week, my daughter promised to help me with that tonight!
