If you were President
Just wondering if you were President of the U.S. what would you change immediately?

I think we have had enough change to last a lifetime within the past year... but I'd veto the HealthCare Bill to prevent everyone paying for abortions and all the other garbage that has been stuffed inside, and to prevent the death panel that I KNOW is inside the Bill.
Note: I am against abortions, but people are going to continue to have them. If they want one, I think they should pay for their own.

I have always felt that the job of the federal government, ie the President, is the defense and security of the country. Sept 11th only deepened this conviction for me. I believe that our President needs to refocus his vision, and that of his team on security, intelligence, defense. Other things are important yes, but nothing is more important than this for the highest level of our government.

So true Mary. As commander and chief, his primary focus should be keeping America and our military safe.

Well said, Mary. And, quite honestly if the country's security is not maintained, eventually all the other domestic issues won't matter anymore, right?
