I attended the Diabetes Awareness event at the Southgate Surgery Center last night. Kate did a fantastic job putting the evening together. Dadba's own Chef Brian Ramirez did a cooking demonstration and we sampled some of his delicious recipes. There were health screenings, and flu shots available, along with the opportunity to meet with Lisa Merrill, a dietitician and 97.1 the ticket's Terry Foster, who shared his experiences as a newly diagnosed diabetic. Great job, Kate!!!!
