I took my own advise and went on a road trip last weekend. We went to Battle Creek. It's less then a 2 hour trip. On our way there we stopped in Marshall and did some antique shopping. Then on to Turkeyville for lunch. We stayed about 10 minutes from the new casino, Fire Keepers. There are lots of places to stay at good rates right now. There are wineries in the area to do a wine tour. We stopped at Cherry Creek Winery in Brooklyn. Colors are beautiful right now. Everyone deserves a night away. Why not treat yourself? You won't regret it!!
