Just wondering what everyones first car was? If you can find a photo online post it. Mine was a 1979 Olds Cutlass Salon brown and rusty, not like the nice picture here: What was your first car?

I had a brown Dodge Dart- 71 I think- It had 3 on the tree, which I had no idea how to drive so my boyfriend at the time changed up the trans and I had a bar coming out of the floor and had to count the clicks to know if I was in Drive!!! Oh well, 6 cylinders and squealed the tires on a turn (low air?) with re-arced springs so it sat up in the back, thought I was cool!!!! Too bad no one told me about the oil-burned that motor Up!!!!!

I had a 78 Black Camero..... nothing near as nice as this one... In fact it had rusted floor boards, I could see the road near the gas pedal!

Kevin you are going waaaaay back. I do not remember the year of the car my father and I bought for $250, but it was a Lincoln Continental with suicide doors. I had it for only three months and we sold it for double the money and bought my neighbor's Ford Fairlane. Blessings, Linda

This was a neat diversion, mine was a 1965 Dodge Rambler, bought it from my Grandfather. I had to use an ice scraper on the inside of the windshield and had to pick up the door handle from the floor for the passenger side if you actually wanted to exit that way. But it was all mine. Here's kind of what it looked like mine was all brown.

1978 Red Chevy Impala station wagon. Oh I miss it! I don't know if this is the right year, but it's close:

My first car was a 67 Old's Cutlass I bought from my father for $300. Gas was 21 cents per gallon and you could find it/me on any given friday, saturday and sometimes sunday nights at the old Jolly Roger drive in entertaining a different guest each evening. It was kind of like Las Vegas... what happens in the Cutlass stays in the Cutlass

This is such great trivia...can you really tell a person's personality from their first car? Imagine this baby if you will...1972 green Maverick, with a rope tying down the hood (compliments of my grandmother), a big bandaid and smashed in left panel (compliments of a trucker I met) and a half a bumper( compliments of my aunt) held together by a bumper sticker that says "Bad girls go everywhere" along with more stickers from several different states...floor boards missing (just like the flintstones vehicle), 3 speed stick on the column oh... and a foot print on the ceiling when it was accidently ventured into a street party. Such sweet, fond memories, I loved that car, I even sold it as is for $200, it ran like a dream....thanks for bringing us down memory lane!

My Old Van... It was my first ride and this is the only photo I have of it. I have owned many vehicles since then but this one was quite unique. I wish I had interior pictures, red lights, black lights and a killer sound system....... Memories...LOL
