John and I love attending the DADBA Monthly Dinner Parties. We believe it cements our relationships with other DADBA members, and helps us keep our budget under control. Let me explain.
Last night at the HQ event, we had veggies & dip, Popeye's Chicken & coleslaw, Kevin's homemade sausage with onions & 3 peppers, salmon casserole with French Bread and Two Sister's Gourmet Brownies.
Now everyone there ate a meal that probably would have cost each person, $11 or better--except for Eric the accountant who came a little later.
Pardon me I digress-- I figure, making the salmon casserole cost me $6, and the French bread was on sale for $.99 a loaf. Not a bad ROI. John and I saved close to $10.
Well, to that that even further, at last night's gathering, a member asked me a couple of questions and I made an unplanned sale for Shaklee products. Suddenly my ROI increased.
Now I'm not saying that happens each month--and I do not plan nor expect that to happen, but this situation also happened at our Breakfast meeting this month. So what am I to deduce about this?
I think the more active I am within DADBA, the more people get to know me, the more they think about Shaklee and what I might have said or they read in my catalog, or perhaps there is a situation going on in their life that Shaklee can assist them with, and they ONLY thought about solving that problem when they saw me and were reminded of my association with Shaklee.
Long story short--I believe that attending DADBA events where there is food, mingling and conversations, is profitable in several ways. Are you out there networking over food with other DADBA members? For goodness sakes, WHY NOT??
Blessings,
Linda
**PS the food is always AWESOME!! And the card game at the monthly dinner is ALWAYS FUN!!! Brings out personalities and excitement! And John & I won twice so that brings our ROI to an all time high! Thanks for the quarters everyone!!
