Hello DADBA Members.
Although I've been a member for a few months now, I am just getting around to navigating the website and decided to introduce myself.
While I am not new to interior design, I am new to owning my own business. In June of this past year, I left the employ of another design studio and decided to venture out on my own. Some would say this was not wise given the economy, but I believe there is no time like the present.
Fortunately, my husband Mark, is thrilled with my being in business. He is a great support. He and I grew up in the downriver area and wouldn't live any place else, with the exception of perhaps Tuscany. Just kidding. We have two children, Audra and Dustin. Thanks to Audra and her husband Luke, we have three granddaughters, Maya, Paige and Libby. My son and his wife, Mindy, are in the Coast Guard.
