I was out today, and driving in Allen Park with their new street parking on Allen Rd. I stopped in to say hi to Susan, and there she was just the epitome of a small business owner. Handling the displays in the window, employee with a customer, repair person coming in for something in the back, and me. Her store is very friendly, and perfect for proms (or weddings) coming up. She even tracks each high school so no young lady can buy the same dress for the same high school prom. If you have a special event coming up, you should do yourself a favor and check into One Stop Wedding Shop, right on Allen Rd in Allen Park.

Oh Mary, what a nice thing you just did, talking about Susan's One Stop Wedding Shop. I called her to tell her you posted because she does not have Internet working at this time and she can not get on the Bulletin Board. It would be so nice to have anyone reading this to give Susan a call and tell her that you saw this post mentioning the One Stop Wedding Shop (and even that you read my post from Tuesday night). Give Susan a call and make her day: 1-313-9884, or stop in to see what the store has to offer. Blessings, Linda

That's an awesome service to prevent the same dress at the same school. That reminds me of a funny thing at last year's Premier conference with the Senior Leadership. On one particular evening of the conference, the Senior Leadership is in formal dress--FOUR women were in the same brown formal--from ALL different parts of the country! Was pretty funny--esp. when two of them ended up next to each other for the group photo! But at least we know it won't be happening at prom!

That's too funny Sarah. I'd be curious if all the men in the picture had black suits and white shirts

Oh my goodness, Sarah, this actually happened to me a number of years ago. My husband and I were attending a formal business dinner. As if it wasn't bad enough that I saw "MY" dress across the room upon arrival, we ended up being seated right next to each other for dinner. There was nothing we could do but compliment each other on having such good taste and break out laughing.

Candy, That is too funny! Though I am sure YOU had purchased it first, and she just wanted to be as well-dressed as you!
