Kevin, once again I am in AWE of what you post for all of us to consider.
In reading thru these, you might begin to feel a little overwhelmed at the many things, many different things, that require,no demand attention. There's too many, I don't know what to do first, might be thoughts running thru our heads.
Orville Hubbard long time Mayor of Dearborn (for better or worse) had a saying that was everywhere in that city. "If everyone swept their own doorsteps the whole world would be clean". Sting that together with "think globally act locally" a path starts to become clearer.
You may not be able to do anything about the number of churches closing in Pennsylvannia, but when's the last time you attended your own church? Do that help yourself, help the church.
Do you belong to any organization such as the American Legion the Knights of Columbus, or the Moose? When's the last time you went to a meeting? OR, join one in your own town.
Some of us, when our kids are out of school, might be tempted to reject millages that pay for schools, or libraries because we don't have someone using them. Maybe we need to remember that any child, every child, but especially the ones in your town, deserve a chance.
And on it goes. Maybe some problems are too big for me. But I can do something where I am. And if we all do something where we are at, it just might be that much less for the people having to handle the big problems to worry about.
Make sure the Kevstradamus Quatrains aren't lost. Pick one and act in your own backyard.

I totally agree Mary. If we would just do one thing different today to make a difference, we might make that difference. I wonder if we even realize what ineffective ripples we can be putting out there? Blessings, Linda
