My buddy and me at Sugar Island over the weekend. Can we swim to the first small island off of sugar island? That seemed to be the goal. So we head in the water, and the current was strong. My buddy starts to make a swim for it. He`s a good swimmer, I am not. He was doing just fine battling the current holding on to some rocks and old dock poles along the way. He was halfway there. I decided to walk about 100 yards to the north. "He yelled where you going" I thought we were going out to the other island" I yelled back, meet you there in a minute. Walked about another 20 yards. Then started to swim straight out. About two minutes into my swim the current grabbed me and put me about 5 feet away from the island. My buddy was still holding onto a old dock pole. Looking at me with one of those looks of shock that he was beat to the island. He yelled that`s not fair, I yelled back, you never said there was rules and life is not fair.. (laughing really hard, I almost fell off the island) There are always more than one way to accomplish your goal. Sometimes you need a straight forward approach, sometimes you have to analyze the problem in detail to find the correct path. Regardless have a realistic goal set, and complete the goal.
