This has been a long time coming....but I officially know who I am now!!
I have been a Shaklee rep, a vending business owner, a Melaleuca rep., a DADBA rep, and now I have really found my home.....Send Out Cards!
I live in Southgate. I am a homeschooling mother of 8 children (yes, they are all my own and one husband to boot!!) They range in age from 14 down to 8 months. My husband Tom is an Information Technology Senior Project Manager for Compuware and a copastor at our church (New Life Ministries in Garden City). He is the reason I am able to do what I do!!
I love "doing" Send Out Cards because I have always wanted to have a coffee shop, but with this economy we have opted to wait a while. I wanted to give someone a cup of coffee and a smile because it may be the only good part of someone's day. Send Out Cards is my way of being able to give someone a hug and even better yet, allow them to send a hug as well!! It's my "pay it forward" you could say!!
I am looking forward to seeing where this business will take me and my team and how God will use us to bring blessings to many people.
I love all of the friendships that DADBA has brought my way and am excited to be a part of this growing group!

She is amazing and NOT KIDDING about the 8 children (that she home schools too)!!! Laurie, you have a heart of gold and I am soo happy that you found that one thing (as far as business goes) that will make you happy!!

Laurie's passion for Send Out Cards is well founded - it's a great tool for my business and for me personally to show people that I care and appreciate them (and their business and referrals). If you haven't checked it out yet, do yourself a favor and get a gift account. You won't regret it.

Congratulations Laurie.
Many people never figure out where God wants them to fit in. You and I know that we are Blessed so that He might Bless others through us. I love it! I am so happy for you.
As for the coffee and the smile... I'll meet ya at "The Perk". Mary and staff have the cutest smiles and great peach iced tea.
Linda

Ditto on what Laurie says about SOC...I don't have the 8 kids to worry about (I had enough trouble with 1....) but I've also been involved in Avon, Amway, Arbonne, and a few other companies that I've tried to build, but without success.
SOC is definitely the way to go!!! Barb
