Mother’s Day Thoughts For Women
From toddler to teen, she held your hand
And told you, “You are very grand!”
With loving hands she wiped frustrated tears
And caressed and cuddled away your fears.
She cooked your favorite lunchtime meals
And coaxed you into unbreakable deals
Stressing discipline, curfews, and eatin' green beans,
Which you fought just ‘so-so’ on into your teens.
She sat through concerts, high school plays
And gave up free time throughout her days
As you walked through life she shared her love
And taught you to trust our God above.
Whether, Mom, Sister, Aunt or Best Friend
All God’s women are special from beginning to end.
