What a great meeting at the K of C the other night. Saw a couple members close some good sized deals, closed a couple myself. Are you getting the most out of your DADBA meetings? First thing it is important to attend. I promise you new members will be at every meeting you attend. Now to the math part, 4-5 new members at each meeting 3 meetings a month roughly 20 new leads. Nice way to supplement your business. Heres a couple of ideas on ways to bring those leads up. Have a flyer of some sort with a spot for 3 references, pass it out to every member at each meeting for 3 referrals, call on them. Have a fishbowl drawing, get a bunch of business cards, then call on them. Get a little more personal, use the DADBA directory located here www.dadba.org/home/downriverdirectory.htmland invite some people you never met to the night meeting for cocktails and a bite prior to the meeting. Make your dinner a group presentation on the services or products you can provide. DADBA will always provide you fresh leads each month, new people that may be interested in your products or services. It is your job to make the most out of every new lead. Heck if you get bored with the new leads, use the old leads. Just go through the directory and cold call every member. By the time your finished start over again from the beginning. ;D
