This is one of my all time favorite quotes......
"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do." -Eleanor Roosevelt

I have heard that before and every time I love it. I find it good too, to stop and consider some specific times, business or personal when I have had to do just that. It encourages me when I don't feel like I am where I should be to look back at the past and say "You can do it again!"

One of my all time favorite quotes,
"You get a lot more done with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone." Al Capone

I once heard some encouraging words. " If you keep falling on your face, then you must be moving forward"

When I was already 20 and working full time complaining that I was only able to take one class at a time, and saying it would take me five years to get a two year degree, a wise women in my office said: "How old will you be in five years if you don't go to school".
That question has always stuck with me, and whenever I need to kick myself into action, I always remember what she said. You will always get older, it's what you do with the time you have. 2008 will be a great year, because we will, together, do all that we can with the time we have.

Really good quotes. I think 2008 is going to be a great year.
Mary, I love your personal story. When I am complaining about something I realize that I am complaining because there is something I still need to learn.
My favorite quote lately has been "Problems are opportunities"
I don't know who said it originally, but I have a Friend who says it and it is true.
