The pup woke this morning to find the backyard covered with snow. This being her first winter, it sure was a surprise. In the back landing I opened the door. She looked outside, then gave me a look. Looked outside again, looked at me.
She slowly made her way down the steps. Ever so cautiously putting her feet in the snow. She got about 2 steps down and looked back at me again. I said it`s ok, she gave me a look as to confirm my answer was truthful, and headed into the backyard. First sniffing at the snow, then licking her paw, eventually licking the snow. Taking care of her morning duty. Then playfully bouncing and running.
The small observations. A snowfall, the first yearly might be a nuisance for us. To someone else or something else. It is magical.
Everyday holds a new experience. Something might be a routine for you, but you have the chance to observe the changes that affect something else. Cherish this opportunity.
My first thoughts waking up this morning were, work and cold. Having to shovel. This morning though put a new perspective on things.
Todays Thoughts: Do your best not to wreck, interfere or hamper the opportunity of someone enjoying their first observation. These observations made by others should loosen your memory and give you time to reflect back when you had and enjoyed that first experience. Embrace the moment, share your experiences, and relive your life through others.

So true! Went to the Trenton Christmas parade on Saturday and it was so awesome to see that parade with snow billowing down and I was so struck by the moment, my kids with their candles and all the candles lining the street, the music, horse and carriage ride, stopping in the bakery for cookies, the dimestore for toys, the Trenton Grill for hot chocolate and we tried the newly opened Tijana Crossing for some yummy taco's. IT was magical
