Downriver Cruise & DADBA

WOW! What a wonderful day of sun & fun, thanks to Frank Bentley's invitation for DADBA members to come and celebrate the Downriver Cruise with him at his auto dealership in Riverview.

We had a ball. Wonderful music. Great looking cars. The beautiful gals from Hooters were a 'hoot' advertising Hooters and at the same time passing out coupons for a free ice cream at Culvers, and bringing smiles to everyone.

The beer was flowing, as Kevin cooked 'dogs & 'brauts. Travis brought a 'magical' lemon potion, and Hooters supplied chicken wings.

Could we ask for anything more???

Laura and Kevin were good hosts, and we all had a great time around and under the canvas tent. Betty D and I relaxed for the first time in oh so very long. Right Betty?

It was a great time - Frank Bently had all the space in the room for us, the weather was perfect and it was a blast to just hang out with all of you!!

Thanks to Ron and the Hooters Gals for the wings, Travis from Culvers for that wonderful lemon ice and to Kevin for helping me man the grill all day!

I think I go tthere a tad too late. We ended up walking around Wyandotte and Southgate with my parents and then we went to the inlaws for a bit. By the time we got back to the cruise it was 10:30 at night. There was a couple people in Frank's garage it looked like at that time.

Not sure if Wow is the right word. But I had such a wonder day and to just relax like Linda P said it was wonderful ;D Thanks to Frank Bentley, for the space and the use of his building he was great. Parking was great.

Saved the best for last Laura & Kevin, you were the best the hostess and host with the most both you. You made my day a relaxation wonderful.
LouAnn and Ralph it was wonderful spending the day you and getting to know both you better.
