DADBA Members - Linda Pastor has been selected as the Business Women of the Year by her chapter of American Business Womens Association (AWBA) as business women of the year!!!
Congrats Linda - this is a well deserved honor!! I have seen first hand all that you do for the organizations that you belong too!!! WELL DONE!!!

Thanks Laura. I have fun in everything I do, especially when I'm helping others.
ABWA is a women's Business Association that supports several charity efforts. Our 30+ year old chapter gives scholarships to young women and helps with those in need in the Downriver community.
We meet once a month [the first Wednesday night] at the Holiday Inn in Southgate. Anyone interested in attending a dinner should contact me.
March 14 ABWA is having a fund raiser, our semi annual 'game' night at the Westfield Activities Center in Trenton. Cost to attend is $7 and snacks and beverages are provided. We will have multiple door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

I remember a while back the expression: Live and Learn and Pass It On. It's one of my goals.

This ABWA Woman Of the Year has brought me more attention. Had I know what a great marketing tool this could be I would have volunteered more in years past.
Oh who am I kidding? I ALWAYS prefer to work in the background, and people just keep drawing me out. I used to be so happy in that Comfort Zone, and now look...
Hubby John says I am more active than anyone he knows and find it easy to say yes to everyone but him.
Poor John, 37 years of marriage on Wednesday. Looks like I've said yes at least once...!
