I went to Mallies this afternoon to see the awesome 150 pound hamburger. Amazing! It was huge.
And the place was packed. I was not expecting to see so many people. Standing room only.
I was greeted by one of the owners and all the wait staff were very friendly. Channel 7 and Channel 4 News crews were there and Mallies had Valet parking for the event. Very nice.
Congratulations to the Mallie family. It was quite an event.
Blessings, Linda

I saw the burger on the news, and they mentioned that you can even order one with 24 notice, like $350 or something I thought.
Next time we have a party at the firehouse this sounds like the perfect party platter.. LoL

In talking with the owner I learned that it took 2+ hours to cook. I can only imagine the size of the 'flipper' needed to turn that baby over and keep it from burning. Blessings, Linda

Linda, that was exactly my husband's reaction -- "How the heck did they turn that thing over"?
