Hi all. Last night I attended the New Years' Eve Party at Nicolo's Banquet, Catering & Conference Center [above the Trenton Athletic Club]. Nice party.
The comedian/magician was amusing and his tricks, though not all original were done in good taste. I still do not know how he got that $20 bill inside the lemon my cousin was holding, nor can I tell you why the carrots were cut in half with the Guillotine and the volunteer's head was spared... Good magic.
I was sorry to see that I was the only person from DADBA there, but I had a great time and met a couple of people I did not know, and got reaquainted with a couple I already knew.
The food was so good I went back for seconds. We had a pasta, veggies, beef tips in wine, and chicken breasts, broiled, as well as in a tasty sauce, Greek salad, and a wonderful dessert table with a chocolate fount. Mmmmm!
Check it out for parties, weddings, etc. They do their own cooking and the hall holds about 150 people.
Oh, yeah, I discovered my cousin Teri, a new DADBA member, is one of the owners. Small world.
