Description: Distributor of power shift transmissions, marine transmissions, hydromechanical drives (torque converters, fluid couplings), clutches, universal joints, and controls in the marine and industrial sector. Distributor of air compressors and liquid pumps. Subcontract machining from customer blueprints and manufacturing of replacement parts for the Paragon marine transmission.
Service and rental without operators of Hyster fork lift material handling equipment. Rental of air compressors. Service of company products

Job Purpose/Performance Outputs:
To oversee all aspects of the branch operations. Establish an annual business plan based on corporate initiatives and territory potential and to achieve such plan. Develop opportunities for continuous growth.
Essential Functions Performed:
* Supervises inside sales, mechanic and inside sales coordinator personnel.
* Generates direct sales with customers.
* Manages branch expenses, including product purchases and sales discounts.
* Builds and maintains customer and vendor relations.
* Maintains branch safety, cleanliness and security.
* Provides input to corporate executives for business planning
* Manages branch assets, inventory and systems.
* Motivate branch personnel to excel in their performance

* Communications skills, both verbal and written.
* Planning and Organization skills for both self and others.
* Leadership skills (both one-to-one and team situations - using appropriate
interpersonal styles and methods to guide and develop individuals and groups

Job Conditions/Requirements - Hours, Travel, Physical, Tools, etc:
* 24 hours on-call to customer calls
* Normal office and warehouse work environments.
Operating Budget for which Responsible:
* $800 K profit sales / $330 K in service sales
Number of Employees Supervised:
* 3

Contacts Required (inside/outside the organization):
* Extensive external contacts with customers and vendors and internal contacts throughout the company.
Position has a starting salary in the mid 50's with the potential to earn an additional 10K in bonus. Company has a full benefit plan
