Taken an old business they once had and brought it back to life? Just curious. I am reviving a business of mine (not exactly the same, but the same but in the same field). I was wondering if anyone has any advice to offer. I put this business to rest, but I miss it terribly and feel like I need to do something with it. I have analyzed what worked with the business financially and personally and what did not. I have re-worked the business and have some ideas about how to revive it with a twist. I am looking for people that may have done the same to offer words of wisdom. Secretly I am hoping to find some success stories as well.
Thanks, Teresa

Hi Teresa, my brother recently did just that! He revived his landscaping business back in his hometown after many years away. It's gone really well, he used his same name, which allowed him to use the original year he began in business, but careful on the wording, for example he can use "established 1991" but not "in business since 1991" He did create a new logo and has joined several chamber groups to get back into the business community.
Just a side note - I represent GoSmallBiz/Pre-Paid Legal and membership gives you access to tons of great legal and business advice - just ask any question you have!!
