Hello,

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to you all. I have been a DADBA member for over 1 year, however, I haven't been very active.

My goal this year is to become more active in the group and get to know more of the fellow members.

My name is Patrick Currey and I have been a working dog handler for 20 years. My career started working dogs in the Army, then as a Trainer at Leader Dogs for the Blind, then as a Narcotics K9 Handler for U.S. Customs.

Five years ago in June I retired from my cushy government job to open my own business. Currey's Family Pet Care Inc. is located in Romulus, Michigan, just off I-274 and I-94.

Our facility has 73 acres in which we are continually adding areas for dog owners to come enjoy their dogs. We have a fully fenced swimming area with a dock set for dock jumping, a weight pull area, a fenced play area and wooded path you can unleash and enjoy.

I have spent the last 5 years working with dog owners repairing behavior issues. I am not afraid of breed or issues and will continue to work with my clients to help them resolve their issues.

Hi Patrick, I am a pet lover myself I have two dogs and two cats. I have a friend who works with WAG they help homeless animals find homes. That would be a good connection. If you want you can drop cards off at the store and I will recommend you. I hope to meet you at one of the meetings.

Welcome Patrick, Looking forward to meeting you. I am looking for someone that can train people. My wife has a very bad habit of feeding any animal she sees everytime she sees one. Then she wonders why the dogs all bark at her/us non stop when she walks out the door!!!!
