Tonight was our second IBR. It was great!
Laura spoke on cold calling. Not something that is popular, and not really something that I have had to do for my Shaklee business, but I went to see what I could learn from someone who has done it.
Laura did a wonderful job of presenting the hows and the whys and the do nots. Kevin also pitched in his 'nickle' (inflation from 2 cents) and we were able to focus on each business represented and draw on the experience shared and relate it all to our individual situations.
In this intimate setting we are able to share information, ask questions and acquire important tools that help us improve our situations. Something that we can not do at the big networking events.
Each time I come to a DADBA event I learn something. Last week I learned 3 new things to improve my business. Tonight I have another 2 specific things to add to my to do list. I know that the others who came also went home with ideas to improve and strengthen their businesses.
Hope to see YOU at the next IBR.
Blessings, Linda

Sorry I missed the round table. I had conflicting prior arrangements. I would give anything to listen to Laura for 2 hours Keith Aflac

The IBR`s are really shaping up to be my favorite DADBA event. I always leave motivated with ideas on improving business. Trying something that I used to do that worked or gain a new idea from someone else.
Kudos to Laura on the Cold Calling Seminar! Smart, precise information!

Hey Laura, Are you going to do a video replay on your topic? or maybe we could do a webinar.

Lots of new thoughts are going into the IBR, We are thinking one a month in the afternoon next month instead of evening.
As far as broadcasting them I would say no as it would take away from the entire point of the meeting. The informal business roundtable, where your going to get ideas and tips on how to improve business in a relaxed setting.
You guys have to come to one to get the feel for how the room works. Very relaxed open conversations. If I knew it was going to be broadcast. I would not be as open and relaxed, I don`t think others would either.
Now...the sponsors presentation before the meeting and conversations starts. I have no objection broadcasting that if the sponsor would like it shown. Soley shown on the sponsor presentation, and as long as it does not become a burden with retakes and editing, etc.

Kevin, I would think that one IBR in the afternoon and one in the evening each month would cover bases--for instance, say that I am not able to attend most afternoons, but Sue and Bob and James might...
