Do you need to be able to pull a Semi into the building or just up to the building? The building on Eureka next to the MBT Bank in Wyandotte were HD Design used to be is huge with a nice loading dock and everything. Also on Fort in Wyandotte the old Westgate Appliance Building has been up for a while.

Sharrie,
I passed your name and telephone number on to two commercial Realtors that I work with. I hope that they can help...
Tom Wright, GVA Detroit (DADBA Member) 734-558-6060 twright@gvadetroit.com
Greg Hornby, Friedman Real Estate Group (Prospective DADBA Member, he is interested in joining) 313-300-0900 greg.hornby@freg.com
If you are considering buying a building, Downriver Community Federal Credit Union does Commercial Mortgages. We would be happy to help your business with this purchase.

Also they have built that new plaza at Fort and Oak. Also there is going to be a new plaza on Eureka behind Thrifty Flowers.
Bet you could get a great deal with these two places

Sharrie, I know the owners of Westgate Appliance, if you want their contact information. I know they are actively trying to sell the building, only problem with that location is parking. I'm on the Zoning Board in Wyandotte and they recently came before us with a buyer that wanted to put a recording studio in and he didn't have enough parking. With a retail establishment such as yours, not sure if you would get approved for the C of O due to lack of parking places. They are also going to be eliminating the parking along Fort Street in Wyandotte when they re-do the road in 2011-2012. Barb

Another huge building I just noticed is the old Trinity Transportation building on Biddle and, I think, Garfield. If you moved there you'd probablt get a lot of traffic from LP and Ecorse as well. A lot of US Steel workers travle by there on th way to work too.
